I was just wondering if it is legal to bet online in all 50 states of the US? Or is it just legal in NJ or NE?

I know its legal if the company is located in Nevada. Im not too sure about New Jersey though. They have casinos up there but Nevada is really known for their laxity towards gambling and casinos.

if you include lottery, then it is legal in almost all of 50 states. Statutes on gambling differ from state to state and not all sorts of gambling are legal. For example, in NJ, it is legal in Atlantic city. In Mississippi it is legal in gambling boats. In states where there is Indian reservation, it is legal there. So the answer is, it depends. Online gambling in the USA is not legal though... :( but since most of these institutions are outside or offshore, they are allowed to operate.
